This Wednesday, we asked Macie, co-president of MEDLIFE, to share about her club! 💙

“MEDLIFE stands for Medicine Education and Development In Low Income Families Everywhere. We are a group of motivated students who are passionate about giving back. We give students opportunities to volunteer in our local community, but what we are most know for is our SLT. A service learning trip allows students from our campus to travel to places such Peru, Costa Rica, Ecuador, Tanzania, and Guatemala to help run mobile clinics in communities who don’t have access to health care. They get to shadow and assist healthcare providers, help in developmental projects, gain some insight on the struggles these communities are facing, and spend time with like-minded individuals from all around the world. We are planning an SLT for May of 2026! All are welcome to join! We are opening up general member applications shortly and would love to see the UWin MEDLIFE chapter grow, so apply!!”
